We celebrate the breadth and diversity of Australian art - none more so, than the work of artists from our local region - the Northern Rivers of New South Wales. This region is truly special in so many ways. Part of this is the manifestation of the talent of this region's artists - in execution, content and concept.
Our gallery is committed to their support, just as we are committed to advocating their work! The sale of art work is our lifeblood and to assist purchase we offer lay-by and longer terms wherever possible. We also ship our artists' work world-wide.
Even though our Opening Hours are designated as Wed to Sun, someone is usually at the gallery other days. Just knock or give us a yell.
For artists - we don't charge you for exhibition space, launches of exhibitions or anything that we do in the media. We rely on sales - and our day jobs - to support the artists who we take on. We don't get any assistance from anyone ... no grants, no fees, no fundraisers - just the trust of the artists with their work and our wonderful patrons who celebrate it - and sometimes buy it!
We are an independent gallery with a commercial focus - the latter, because we have to. We support artistic excellence though, no matter how un-commercial it may be. Art can deal with all sorts of things - beauty, sentiment, politics, other issues - and express in many different ways. Sometimes it's challenging and sometimes it sits more comfortably.
We embrace it all ... if it's good!
